A workshop on general tracking/vertexing issues in high multiplicity environments in high energy physics will be held from Monday October 3rd to Friday October 7th 2005. The location will be the Physik-Institut at the University of Zürich/Switzerland.

Our goal is to bring together the people working on hardware and software aspects of
tracking devices and to share experience from running experiments to people working on
future experiments.

We are expecting about 50 participants from Tevatron/LHC/RHIC/HERA and are planning four sessions:

    I: Operational and system aspects
    II: Tracking and vertexing algorithms
    III: Radiation Environments and Aging
    IV: Detector Technologies

Invited Speakers:

V. Blobel (Hamburg)
G. Casse (Liverpool)
M. Capeans (CERN)
R. Fruhwirth (Vienna)
